That would be Republican state representative Jon Hubbard who wrote the book titled "Letters to the Editor, Confessions of a Frustrated Conservative."

Loy Mauch, Repub state representative from Bismark is a CSA advocate who claims the Rebel flag is a symbol of Christianity and
Abraham Lincoln was guilty of treason.

In many ways Charles Fuqua makes the other two wackjobs appear slightly less insane with his book "God's Law: The Only Political Solution," see here. Fuqua calls for the execution of repeat offenders and the execution of children who disobey or disrepect their parents.
Charles Fuqua was a former Republican state representative from Springdale and then served ten years in DHS for Gov Huckabee (R) administration working on child welfare
cases. Fuqua is currently running for Republican state representative from Batesville, AR.

Mainstream Republicans
All three candidates have rec'd campaign money from Congressman Steve Womack, Arkansas Republican Party, and each from their County Republican Party. No matter what or how loudly some other Republican candidates and supporters cry foul these fellows are by all standards mainline Republicans. I mentioned recently that Hubbard's latest campaign filing included still more Republican money.

Now it's Loy Mauch, with a new report with plenty of Republican and related money. The contributions came, it's true, generally before the reporting here and elsewhere that rekindled interest in Mauch, but Mauch's Confederate leanings have long been well-known.

Contributions include:

* $250 from Republican Lt. Gov. Mark Darr's Strong Arkansas PAC

* $250 from Brent Stevenson, a lobbyist for the Billionaire Brothers Koch, whose paid political organization head, Teresa Oelke, recently complained bitterly about being depicted as a supporter and enabler of racists. Quack quack. Oelke will be believable the minute Americans for Prosperity sends out mailers to voters saying they were wrong about Mauch and Hubbard; that they are thoroughly contemptible candidates.

* $500 from the Stephens Group LLC, one of the offshoots of the wealthy Stephens financial empire, solidly Republican.

Do Republicans support these candidates or not? The answer is yes.
