Arguments about Him- that square circle

Post by ignosticmorgan »

As Existence is all, God cannot exist as Primary Cause nor can there be anything whence it comes.
As cause, event and time presuppose previous ones, no Primary Cause can exist. Peter Adam Angeles^ makes these two telling arguments.
Lamberth's atelic or teleonomic argument is that since the weight of evidence evince teleonomy - no wanted outcome, then no God with purposes- teleology, intent, agency- has anything to do with reality, ans would contradict natural causes! This applies not only to teleological arguments but to all arguments having intent. So, there can be no Grand Miracle Monger, no Grand Designer and no Primary Cause.
Evolutionary creationism and creation evolution are oxymorons
Scientists are inquiring why people see agency- intent- teleology- when they see such as pareidolias. So the argument from pareidolia is more than other arguments about why people believe, being based on knowledge. The argument is that people see intent and design as pareidolias when there exists only teleonomy and patterns.
So we ignostics find Him lacking those referents as Primary Cause, etc. and so, He cannot exist! No traversing the Metaverse or omniscience requires itself but analysis to maintain that. So, contrary to Alfred Jules Ayer and Theodore Drange, the ignostic challenge does not make atheism wrong, but rather pervades its arguments! :!:
