Tired of all this winter weather? Are you ready for Spring? Well, it's time to Spring forward to the March meeting of the Fayetteville Freethinkers!

Look at what we have lined up for our next meeting:

We'll watch another part of a film series with Richard Dawkins.

Don Merrell, a philosophy professor at NWACC, is teaching a class on sex and gender this semester. He will tell us about some fascinating studies in gender orientation. Is it in your genes? Or in your shorts?

And speaking of sex, Linda Farrell will give us a presentation in which she will tell us in her usual subtle way what is going on in the Quiverfull movement.

Doug Krueger will wear one of his many kilts. But besides that, he'll have something to show us too.

On a somber note, some of you probably heard that Lyell Thompson, retired University of Arkansas agronomy professor, former Washington County justice of the peace, civil rights activist, and constant attendee of Fayetteville Freethinker meetings, passed away at the age of 89. There was a very nice article about his life in the paper, you can read it here: http://www.thecitywire.com/node/32124#.Ux_AnZ-9KSM
We will share memories of Lyell at the meeting.

Bring some magazines for the free table if you have them!
